The old brand and the problem

The founders came to me because they felt like their brand was outdated and their branding was not connecting with them on a deep level. At the time they only had a logo, not really a visual identity they could scale. And they knew they wanted to also launch their own products.

Chosen Creative Direction

After reviewing the project questionnaire and extensive discussion with the founders it was time for research. This is the moodboard and creative direction that was approved and even the colour palette only changed the slightest for the finished brand.

The big changes

The main issue of the brand, the existing logo, was the priority, especially the fact that there was no real connection with the founder, their story and their mission. The owner has a gorgeous black Labrador named Bella so of course she HAD to become the brand's mascot.

The initial designs

In the initial brand presentation, I had worked on a heritage-style logo that included 5 stars to translate their exceptional customer service and reviews. When discussing with the founders, we came to the conclusion that they wanted it to be more stripped down, more simple.

The approved logos

The overall look and feel of the logos stayed the same, but in a more minimal way. The "established" date also changed to be more accurate. The brand was complete with a responsive logo that had variations to suit all brand applications with ease.

The finished brand in action

Hundinspiration's finished brand identity has been such a success for the business. The founders absolutely love their fresh brand and their customers connect with it and keep coming back.

The launch of their first products was also a big success and they had around 200 ecommerce orders in the first 1-2 hours of launch.
